We've teamed up with Wayward Distillation House in Courtenay to use their Krupnik liqueur - a spiced honey spirit that would be a great replacement for spiced rum or cinnamon whiskey, sipped by the fire. In this case, we use it to soak all of the dried fruit and citrus that goes into our fruitcakes!
These are ready to eat as is, or feel free to 'age' your fruitcake with regular bathings of brandy or liqueur of your choice.
